CBSE CTET December 2024 Exam Eligibility Code Details

CTET Primary Level (Class I to V): Eligibility with Code December 2024

1.) Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and:

• Passed or currently appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any name).

2.) Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and:

• Passed or currently appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, as per NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.

3.) Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and:

• Passed or currently appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

4.) Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and:

• Passed or currently appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.

CTET Junior Level (Class VI to VIII): Eligibility with Code December 2024

1. Graduation and:
   • Passed or currently appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by any name).
2. Graduation or Post-Graduation with at least 50% marks and:
   • Passed or currently appearing in the final year of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
3. Graduation with at least 45% marks and:
   • Passed or currently appearing in the final year of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), in line with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.
4. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and:
   • Passed or currently appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
5. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and:
   • Passed or currently appearing in the final year of a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed program.
6. Graduation with at least 50% marks and:
   • Passed or currently appearing in the final year of a B.Ed. (Special Education)*.
7. Candidates with a B.Ed. program recognized by NCTE or those pursuing any NCTE or RCI-recognized teacher education courses are also eligible to appear in TET/CTET.
8. Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and:
   • Passed or currently appearing in the final year of a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. program.
