BHU School Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria & Available Seats

1. Admission for LKG

• School Name: Central Hindu Girls’ School, Kamachha, Varanasi
• Age Limit: The child must be between 4 to 5 years as of 31st March 2025.
  • The date of birth should be between 31st March 2020 and 31st March 2021.
• Total Seats: 120

2. Admission for Nursery

• School Name: Central Hindu School, RGSC, Barkachha, Mirzapur
• Age Limit: The child must be between 5 to 6 years as of 31st March 2025.
  • The date of birth should be between 31st March 2019 and 31st March 2020.
• Total Seats: 40

3. Admission for Class I

• School Name: Shri Ranveer Sanskrit Vidyalaya, Kamachha, Varanasi
• Age Limit: The child must be between 6 to 8 years as of 31st March 2025.
  • The date of birth should be between 31st March 2017 and 31st March 2019.
• Total Seats: 40

4. Admission for Class VI (Girls)

• School Name: Central Hindu Girls’ School, Kamachha, Varanasi
• Age Limit: The child must be between 10 to 12 years as of 31st March 2025.
  • The date of birth should be between 31st March 2013 and 31st March 2015.
• Educational Qualification: The student must have passed Class 5 from a recognized school.
• Total Seats: At least 74 seats are available.

5. Admission for Class VI (Boys)

• School Name: Central Hindu Boys’ School, Kamachha, Varanasi
• Age Limit: The child must be between 10 to 12 years as of 31st March 2025.
  • The date of birth should be between 31st March 2013 and 31st March 2015.
• Educational Qualification: The student must have passed Class 5 from a recognized school.
• Total Seats: At least 90 seats are available.

Important Notes:-

• Children born on 1st April of the respective year will also be considered eligible.
• Employee Ward Quota: Sons and daughters of contractual/daily wage/outsourcing employees of BHU can apply under the Employee Ward Quota. If seats remain available, they must submit a Contractual Employee Certificate issued by the concerned authority.
• Seat Availability: The number of seats mentioned for Class VI (74 for girls and 90 for boys) are the minimum seats available, and the final number may increase.

BHU School Admission 2025: Required Documents

1. Required Documents for LKG, Nursery, and Class I Admission

• Date of Birth Proof:
  • A photocopy of the birth certificate issued by Nagar Nigam (Municipal Corporation) OR
  • A copy of the Kutumb Register (family register) mentioning the child’s name, attested by the father, mother, or guardian.
• AADHAR Card: Copy of AADHAR card of the child and parents.
• Registration Form: A printed copy of the admission registration form.

2. Required Documents for Class VI Admission

• Date of Birth Proof: The date of birth must be mentioned in:
  • The Mark Sheet of Class V OR
  • The Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previous school.
• Original Mark Sheet: Class V mark sheet must be submitted.
• Character Certificate: A valid character certificate from the previous school.
• Previous School Leaving Certificate (TC): Must be submitted at the time of admission.
• AADHAR Card: Copy of AADHAR card of the student.
• Registration Form: A printed copy of the admission registration form.
• Category Certificate: If applicable, candidates must submit their caste/category certificate.
• Employee Ward Certificate: If applying under the Employee Ward Quota, a certificate from the concerned department must be provided.

3. Important Information for Selected Candidates

• The Lottery Rank List will be published on the official BHU admission portal (bhuonline.in). Candidates must check their position and appear for counseling with the required documents.
• Permanent Education Number (PEN): Students who secure admission must provide their PEN Number, issued through the U-DISE portal from their previous school, on the date of admission.
