Eligibility Criteria:
For Science Subjects:-
- 10+2 (Intermediate): Must have passed with Mathematics, Physics, and English, securing at least 50% marks overall and 50% in English.
- Diploma in Engineering: 3-year diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation/IT with 50% marks overall and 50% in English.
- Vocational Course: 2-year vocational course with Non-Vocational subjects (Physics and Mathematics) with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
For Other than Science Subjects:-
- 10+2 (Intermediate): Passed with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
- Vocational Course: 2-year vocational course with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
Medical Standards:-
- Height: Minimum 152.5 cm
- Chest Expansion: Minimum 5 cm

Indian Airforce Agniveer (Agnipath) Scheme Benefits – Intake 01/2026:
- Age Eligibility: Candidates aged 17.5 to 21 years can apply.
- Service Duration: Youth will serve in the Indian Airforce for 4 years under the Agniveer scheme.
- Life Insurance: Agniveers will get a life insurance cover of ₹48 lakhs during their service period.
- Skill Certificate: A skill-set certificate will be awarded after completing 4 years of service.
- Leave:
- Annual Leave: 30 days per year.
- Sick Leave: Based on medical advice.
- Additional Benefits: Agniveers will receive new benefits every year under the Agnipath scheme.

Indian Airforce Agniveer Salary and Benefits:-
- First Year: Monthly salary will be ₹30,000, out of which ₹21,000 will be in hand, and ₹9,000 will go to the Agniveer Corpus Fund.
- Second Year: Monthly salary increases to ₹33,000, with ₹23,100 in hand and ₹9,900 contributed to the Corpus Fund.
- Third Year: Salary rises to ₹36,500 per month, with ₹25,580 in hand and ₹10,950 added to the Corpus Fund.
- Fourth Year: Monthly salary becomes ₹40,000, with ₹28,000 in hand and ₹12,000 allocated to the Corpus Fund.
Post-Completion Benefits:
- After 4 years, Agniveers will receive a Seva Nidhi Package of ₹11.71 lakh (including interest) and a Skill Gained Certificate.
- Up to 25% of Agniveers may be enrolled into the regular cadre of the Indian Airforce.
- Over 4 years, a total of ₹5.02 lakh will be contributed to the Corpus Fund.
