Educational Qualification
- Applicants must have passed Matriculation (10th grade) from a recognized board.
- Additionally, candidates should be sportspersons who have participated in any of the following:
- International competition
- National competitions
- Inter-University tournaments
- National-level school games
- National Physical Efficiency Campaign
Physical Standards
1. Height:
- Male: 170 cm
- Female: 157 cm
- Chest (Male only): 80–85 cm
2. Endurance Test:
- Male: 5 km race within 24 minutes
- Female: 800 meters within 4 min
Selection Process
- Physical Standard Test (PST) – Height, chest & weight check.
- Sports Trials – Game performance & skills test.
- Document Verification – Certificates & eligibility check.
- Medical Examination – Fitness as per Assam Rifles norms.
- Final Merit List – Based on sports performance + PST + medical.
