Eligible candidates can apply for seat allotment in government and private polytechnic colleges from 20th September to 25th September 2024. After the Diploma-Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE), candidates will be informed about counselling based on the merit list. Updates will be available on the official website bceceboard.bihar.gov.in and through newspapers. Candidates can choose their institute/course based on merit-cum-choice from the available options. Counselling may be conducted either online or offline, depending on the decision of the board.
For seat allotment, orders will be issued based on available vacancies and reservation rules, as per the Government of Bihar’s guidelines. Each institute will be considered individually for reserved category admissions.
Candidates must undergo document verification and medical examination. Only those who pass the verification process will be eligible for admission to the selected institute or course.
In case of any printing errors in the merit list or results, candidates cannot claim entitlement for enrolment based on such mistakes.

Original Documents:
- Admit Card, Marksheet, and Certificate (Original or Provisional) of Matric or equivalent exam
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Residential Certificate
- Character Certificate
- Other relevant certificates (if applicable)
Additional Documents:
- Copy of Aadhar Card
- 6 copies of the passport-size photograph (same as on the DECECE-2024 Admit Card)
- Original Admit Card of DECECE-2024
- Rank Card of DECECE-2024
Counselling-Related Documents:
- Copy of the Choice Slip after registration and choice filling for online counselling
- Printed copy of the Online Application Form (Part-A & Part-B)
- 3 copies of the Provisional Allotment Order
- 2 copies of the Verification Slip and 1 copy of the Biometric Form (mandatory for the interview/document verification)

Visit the Portal: Go to the “Online Counseling Portal of DCECE-2024” for choice filling and counselling.
New Registration:
- Click on “New Registration” to begin.
- Enter the required details to register.
Login:
- After registration, log in with your User ID and Password.
Fill Choices:
- Select as many institutes and trades as you prefer.
- You can edit your choices until the last date.
Choice Locking:
- Once satisfied with your choices, lock them.
- If you need to make changes, click “Unlock Choices,” verify via OTP sent to your registered mobile and email, and update your choices.
- After editing, re-lock your final choices.
- If you don’t lock your choices, they will automatically be locked after the last date.
Print and Save: Take a printout of your filled choices and keep it safe for future reference.

Note:

The entire registration, choice filling, and unlocking process is OTP-based, and the OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number and email.
Mobile number and email cannot be changed under any circumstances.
Registration and choice filling is a one-time process. If you miss it in the first round, you won’t get another chance in the next round.
