DCECE Counselling 2024 Notice
After the Diploma-Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination, applicants will receive counselling information based on the merit list. This information will be provided on the BCECE Board’s website (bceceboard.bihar.gov.in) and through newspapers at the appropriate time. Each candidate will have the opportunity to choose an institute/course based on their merit and preference from those available. The counselling process may be conducted online or offline, depending on the decision made.
Allotment Process
Candidates will be allotted seats based on available vacancies and reservation rules valid up to the start date of online application filling for this exam by the Bihar Government. Each institute will be treated as a unit for admission in reserved categories.
Verification and Enrollment
After scrutiny and verification of original certificates and identity, eligible candidates must undergo a medical examination by the specified date mentioned in their allotment order. If declared eligible, candidates must enroll in the selected institute/course.
Important Note
Candidates cannot claim allotment based on any errors in printing during the preparation and publication of results or merit lists.
Bihar Polytechnic Document Verification List 2024
To participate in the document verification process for Bihar Polytechnic 2024, candidates must bring the following documents:
- Original Documents:
- Original Admit Card, Marksheet, and Matric or Equivalent Exam Certificate (Original or Provisional)
- Original Caste Certificate
- Original Residential Certificate
- Original Character Certificate
- Any Other Relevant Certificates
- Photocopies and Other Documents:
- Copy of Aadhar Card
- 6 passport-size photographs (same as pasted on the DECECE-2024 Admit Card)
- Original DECECE-2024 Admit Card
- DECECE-2024 Rank Card
- Copy of Choice Slip used for online counselling registration and choice filling
- Printed copy of Online filled Application Form (Part-A & Part-B) for DECECE-2024
- Three copies of downloaded Provisional Allotment Order
- Additional Requirements:
- Two copies of the Verification Slip (downloaded) and one copy of the Biometric Form for Interview/Document Verification
How to Apply for Bihar Polytechnic Counselling 2024
- Access the Online Counseling Portal:
- Visit the “Online Counseling Portal of DCECE-2024”.
- New Registration:
- Click on “Click here for New Registration” and enter the required information as prompted on the screen.
- Login:
- Use your User ID and Password to login to your account after registration.
- Fill Choice of Institutes and Trades:
- Fill in your preferred choices of institutes and trades. You can edit your choices until the last date mentioned in the schedule.
- Choice Locking:
- If satisfied with your choices, lock them according to the schedule provided. Locked choices can be unlocked temporarily for modifications by verifying an OTP sent to your registered mobile number and email.
- Final Locking of Choices:
- After making any changes, re-lock your choices before the deadline. If choices are not locked by the last date, they will be automatically locked.
- Printout:
- Take a printout of the filled choices for your records and future reference.
Important Notes:
- Registration, Choice locking, and Unlocking processes require OTP authentication sent to your registered mobile number and email ID.
- Your registered mobile number and email ID cannot be changed under any circumstances.
