- No Age Limit
- Candidate Passed / Appearing Class 12th Exam in : 2024, 2025 or Appearing in 2026
JEE Mains 2026 : Eligibility Criteria
- Who Can Apply:
- Candidates who passed Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2024 or 2025, or are appearing in 2026, can apply.
- There is no age limit for JEE (Main) 2026.
- Accepted Qualifying Examinations:
- 10+2 final exam by any recognized Central or State Board.
- Intermediate or two-year Pre-University exam by a recognized Board/University.
- Final exam of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the NDA.
- Senior Secondary Exam by NIOS with at least five subjects.
- Any equivalent exam recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- Higher Secondary Certificate (Vocational) exam.
- 3-year Diploma recognized by AICTE or State Technical Board.
- GCE exam (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at Advanced (A) level.
- Cambridge University High School Certificate or International Baccalaureate Diploma (Geneva).
- BOSSE (Sikkim) exams are also valid.
- For Foreign or Unlisted Boards:
- Must have an AIU equivalence certificate confirming the exam equals India’s Class 12.
- If Class 12 is Not a Public Exam:
- Candidate must have passed at least one public exam (Board or Pre-University) earlier.
